Centuries ago, the Dardanian tribes of the Balkans forged their warriors through brutal rites of passage—tests of strength, cunning, and unbreakable will. Only those who conquered the “X” (a sacred mark carved into stone) earned the right to lead. Now, Dardanian X resurrects this legacy. The “X” represents the unknown, the unconquered, and the ultimate proving ground. It is not just a race—it’s a trial by earth, fire, and storm, where modern warriors face the untamed spirit of the Illyrians.
The “Dardanian Trail” (5km)
“Every warrior’s journey begins with a single step. The Dardanian Trail tests your raw grit – navigating wild foothills, icy streams, and the first whispers of the mountains. Here, you’ll learn to move like the Illyrians: swift, agile, and unyielding.”

- “Wolf Crawl” – Barbed wire mud trench
- “Shield Carry” – Haul a Dardanian load carry up a hill
- “X-Wall” – 12-foot vertical climb with rope assist
- “Ora’s Judgment” – Balance beams
- Stone Haul (Carry a river rock up a short climb)
- “Skanderbeg’s Rope” – 30-foot rope climb with knotted challenges

Please arrive at least one hour early for registration, briefing, and warm-up.
Race Start
5:00 PM
The first athletes are about to begin their race. Organizers may divide the racers into wave groups, with each wave starting every 10 minutes.
Post-Race Celebration
7:00 PM
As the last athletes complete the race, join us for an exciting evening of music, food, and community spirit to celebrate your achievements!
